HIOKI's optional CF cards are designed for industrial use and are not sold commercially. Commercially sold CF cards are designed to save the large files (in 10's of MB) such as pictures and videos. On the other hand, measuring instruments primarily save smaller data files (few kB). Even if the general SD cards function normally with your instrument, it may stop saving data suddenly and without warning. Please use our optional SD cards which are confirmed to provide proper and continuous saving.

RoHS 2 applies to restrictions on the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, particularly those used for monitoring and control. Hioki's products that fall under this category must be compliant by July 22, 2021, and we plan to issue a statement regarding compliance for all relevant products by that date.

Hioki products released 2014 or later do not contain any mercury, because we follow the law in accordance with the global mercury convention. We have confirmed the mercury contents on some older models, but all are lower than the limit. There is no need to declare the mercury content in global logistics.
